The 2026 U.S. Senate elections are held on 3 November 2026, with 35 of 100 seats contested (including the special elections in Florida and Ohio). This market resolves to the party that will hold a majority in the Senate convening in January 2027, based on the certified results of every 2026 Senate race as called by the Associated Press and confirmed by official state results. Independents are counted with the party they caucus with. A 50-50 split resolves to 'Republicans', because the sitting Vice President (JD Vance) casts the tie-breaking vote, giving Republicans effective control of the chamber. Resolves once every Senate race has been called by AP.
