Which bloc wins the most seats in the 2026 Swedish general election?

Sweden holds its general election on Sunday 13 September 2026, electing all 349 members of the Riksdag. Two blocs contest for a governing majority: the OPPOSITION bloc — Social Democrats (S), Left Party (V), Green Party (MP) and Centre Party (C), led by Magdalena Andersson — and the incumbent GOVERNMENT/Tidö bloc — Moderates (M), Sweden Democrats (SD), Christian Democrats (KD) and Liberals (L), led by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. This market resolves to whichever of the two blocs wins the greater combined number of Riksdag seats, per the official final result certified by the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten). Bloc membership is fixed to the eight parties as listed above; any additional party that enters the Riksdag counts for neither bloc. If both blocs tie on seats, the market resolves to the bloc whose parties won the greater combined share of the national vote.
