The market resolves to the named laureate if they are listed as an outcome; if the winner is any writer not named as an outcome, it resolves to 'Any other writer'. The Nobel Prize is never awarded posthumously, so a candidate who has died cannot win. Literature laureates are notoriously hard to predict, and the eventual winner is very often outside the bookmakers' favourites.
